<p>@william95 Just a correction–I applied to the Computer Science Major in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). I did indeed make a typo. I did not apply to the College of Engineering as I felt that I did not have a strong enough application for the engineering colllege.</p>
<p>@000AAAaaa I’m applying to the College of Human Ecology as well, and I’m also beginning to think that if I were going to be accepted I should have heard back by now. 
In any case, since I haven’t posted stats, here they are:</p>
<p>Applying: CHE–Human Development
Current School: community college
Current GPA: 3.92
Credits: 64 after this semester (12 first semester, 13 second semester, 13 third semester, and 17 this semester)
High School GPA: terrible (which I explained was due to my terrible home environment on the advice of my transfer counselor)
SAT score: didn’t submit, as they weren’t required for HD
EC: volunteer at American Red Cross, volunteered a few years ago providing therapy for handicapped children through horseback riding, leader/mentor of a children’s reading group a couple years ago, and I’ve worked a part time job for about 20 hrs per week during every school year as well.</p>
<p>Other things worth noting: my highest level math course is pre-calculus (currently taking), I <em>think</em> my essays and recommendations were strong, I’ve been accepted to Binghamton University (my backup plan!), and I’m an independent, non-traditional student.</p>

<p>*forgot to add that after this semester I will have taken all of the required and recommended prerequisite coursework for HD, and that I had 9 credits which transferred from high school as well, which, when combined with the other credits listed, does add up to 64 total credits!</p>

<p>Hello. I have been lurking for a couple weeks and feel like i am now wanting to join in on all the excited anticipation happening! Thanks for all the info and keeping me entertained while being so nervous. 
I applied for ILR, and Cornell is the only school I applied to. I will post stats when I get a decision. </p>
<p>@happyfeet123 According to reports from people on last year’s thread, it looks like ILR applicants received acceptances around the last week of April, though there were a few Guaranteed Transfers that received theirs much earlier (see pg. 23). Hope this helps! :)</p>

<p>@Indeedforhelp its early yet. Im sure you are a strong applicant too. Its normal to have self doubt. I am constantly thinking wouldhave couldhave shouldhave thoughts, and comparing my stats to all of yours. But in the end, i understand that Cornell chooses students, particularly transfers, for their fit to the program, not cause you have the best gpa or most extensive ec’s. The fat lady isnt singing yet!</p>
<p>@Indeedforhelp I feel the same way. At this point I’m just hoping the rejection doesn’t come the night before/on the day of a test! I have solid plans to eat a pint of ice cream and wallow for the rest of the day if I get rejected lol</p>

<p>OUCH! Thats a lot rejected. Looks like they were toward the end of the month, so if history serves, the bulk of accepts should happen this week and early next. Later, come the bulk of rejects. Now, each day that passes, ill feel more and more rejected, like i got all dressed up and my date left me standing in the rain.</p>
<p>Then your Uncle comes out with a beer and says “She’s not coming kid”, cracks open the beer and hands you one. You proceed to have an enlightening moment with your Uncle on the steps and realize that all you need in this life is family. </p>
<p>But thats bull**** because that date was smoking hot and life would have been a whole lot better if you were with her right now instead of your crazy drunken uncle…a las. </p>
