Hey guys, I applied CAS mathematics…
Anyone applied to CAS heard yet?

@marianna0725 - I applied to CAS for Asian Studies, and got in on Tuesday!

@challenging any transeval change for you?

@Cyrano723: Messaged you. :)

A quick question:
For someone planning on pursuing Economics major, would it be easier to get into CAS or CALS (the AEM major)? I mean I understand AEM would be a more competitive major, but given the higher acceptance in CALS as comparerd to CAS, in the past, I concluded that one will have a higher chance to get accepted in CALS.

Wait… am I over-thinking this whole thing? Dear Cornell, do you see what this wait is doing to us.

@banker92 I believe CAS econ. is more theoretical economics, people will probably go on doing a PHD in economics and stay in academia. AEM is more applied (and business oriented). People will more likely become managers, entrepreneurs, accountants. I can be totally wrong of course.

Hello All,

I have been following this threat, but never posted anything. Anxiety is killing me as well… I cannot wait anymore!
I applied to CE as a Civil Engineering major, and here are my stats:

HS GPA: 3.95 (Foreign Country)
Current GPA 3.87 (Two B+'s in Speech and Geography, then all A’s in all my STEM classes)
Credits: 51 current, 65 by end of Semester at Borough of Manhattan Community College- CUNY

I participated in many scholar competitions during High School years, and have done lots of Extracurricular Activities in College. These include 4 research projects, an Engineering Club where I am President, lots of volunteer work and I tutor. I have received two scholarships, both for being a research assistant and I also receive a grant from NSF. This Summer, I am doing research with a faculty at the School of Engineering at Princeton University. ***I included this info in my app.

Can anyone chance me?

@engineeringboy dude, you are in

Hopefully @wellletshope . Fingers crossed!

Let’s all be optimistic. We are all strong applicants.

in 25 minutes its automated e-mail time

QUESTION: Guys, does the fact that decisions are coming out on a rolling basis means that people who submitted their application earlier will have a bigger chance being admitted?

Nothing for me today, well at least hopefully for now.

@wellletshope no, I think it matters when all your documents arrive. I think they have forwarded all the apps by 4/1, so if everything arrived by then, everyone has the same chance.

Nothing at 10 am.

@wellletshope no I don’t think so

nothing for me either. Loosing hope now. Jst found out that 4 animal science were admited already because of GT…I dont think there is much more spaces.

-thats a relief
-nothing here either

Hey maybe next week’s the charm you guys.

Nothing here… Anxiety level at infinity!

nothing here, either :/
