@ShuttlepilotND Thanks, hopefully we’ll find out tomorrow/very soon! I remember calling them last semester and asking a similar question. She did stress the importance of taking pre-requisites but also seemed surprised that I was able to complete the other recommended classes, and mentioned that it “still made me a competitive applicant” or something like that. I’m not trying to brag. It just seems like it may help us out if we have completed the recommended classes.
@FUTUREUCLABRUIN1 It only says they will be released at 3 p.m. for freshman applicants. For transfer applicants, it’s not so clear. Here’s the exact copy of the email I was sent:
"Dear ARandomPerson1,
Thank you for applying to UC Santa Barbara. Admission decisions for all freshman applicants will be released on Monday, March 16 at 3 p.m. PST. Admission decisions for transfer applicants will be available on a rolling basis from March 16 through May 1."
The site says "This site will be unavailable between Monday, March 16, 2015 8:00:00 AM and Monday, March 16, 2015 3:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) due to system maintenance. The Admissions Account Management site is currently available if you need to create or change your password. "
So definitely decisions come out after 3 pm
