HS GPA: 4.08/4.00
College GPA: 3.87/4.00

Several other papers are currently under review. Several club leaders in the high school, pianist and keyboard player in orchestra and pit band. Carillonist in the college.
Essay: I talked about my interests in decision neuroscience, which is the reason why I want to transfer. I also mention I want to continue playing the carillon and Duke is the very few schools that have carillon.

@cccccccozhao omg I’m neuroscience too! Are you considering going to Duke?

Rejected

@2747284 I am not sure now. I am also accepted by Brown and still wait for other few schools.

@cccccccozhao wow congrats! Can’t go wrong with those options. Hope the rest of the process goes well for you!

@ab2022 Any chance you can elaborate on why you’d choose to leave UPenn? I’m a student at Johns Hopkins and am grateful to have been accepted to Duke, but your perspective would really help me with my decision process.

Got waitlisted, does anyone know if Duke typically utilizes the waitlist or if it’s a kinder rejection?

Rejected, but it was expected. Excited to be attending UNC Chapel Hill in the fall - congrats to everyone who got in, and good luck to those on the wait list!
