Since we now have the results thread, I think it is time to get this thread started. Use this page for discussion about results.

If we already have the results thread, why would we use this page for discussion about results? Wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of the other thread?

One is for stats only, the other is for casual discussion.

But wouldn’t http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/georgetown-university/1023577-georgetown-early-action-2015-thread.html defeat the purpose of this thread? Seeing as both are discussion of EA?

@ZapadniyRus: I agree.

This thread is for discussion results rather than the application process.

^^^ Ah, i see. This is for discussion of the actual decision results. The other one is for stats and http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/georgetown-university/1023577-georgetown-early-action-2015-thread.html is for discussion of application process/wait. That makes sense.

I can’t take the pressure of the results thread haha

Reading through last year’s EA decisions thread was a terrifying experience.

^^^ This could not have been put any more perfectly ;)

I just saw the results from anonymousapp… pretty shocking that he/she got deferred.

It originally said accepted then changed. I am wondering if it was a lie.
(Thank you, by the way, for not posting that on the results page!)

Yes, I noticed that it was changed from accepted to deferred too… interesting. I wish we knew what school the poster was applying to as well.

Thinking that it’s not true…

Hey,

Sorry. That is a typo; I got accepted. I was editing my post after initially posting (copy and pasting from a template) and accidentally picked deferral over acceptance lol. Also, I applied to just the College. Good luck everyone!

He fixed it. I am not sure. If he lives near D.C. area, I would not be surprised if he got his decision though.

It just got updated to accepted, but that’s kind of a relief because that was extremely discouraging.

I live in MD. I was not expecting the letter to come today at all lol.

In past years, people around where you live get letters on Saturday. Congratulations! Do you want to go there?

Congrats then, anonymousapp! First acceptance of the year (on CC at least…)!
