Rank: Unranked, but 2/209 (public magnet, top high school in country)

Georgetown’s been one of my top choices since the beginning of my college search process. I’m not too torn up about it though because I probably would have ended up with little to no financial aid and not gone. I thought I had a good shot with my straight A mid-year report, but everything happens for a reason. With some schools its like rolling the dice to know if you got in or not. I’ll be attending American University in an accelerated 4-year master’s program and I know I’ll be happy there. I wish the best of luck to all those who are accepted and choose to attend, and who knows? Maybe I’ll see you in D.C.

Last year, I was waitlisted. I never got in from the waitlist, but the admissions counselor I got in touch with stated that 150 students were accepted off the waitlist in the class of 2013. I don’t know how many of those 150 were accepted to SFS from the waitlist though.
