**Official Georgetown University Transfer Thread 2010**

As a freshman right?

nope, transfer

congratulations!! I didnt think they were reviewing applications until July 1

Is financial aid information supposed to come with the admissions letter, or separately?

separately.

MisterF, really??? Congratulations!!! to what school did u apply?? What did you do?
I haven’t lost any hope but I just try to relax in this waiting game and I don’t know what else to do.

Oh and how did u get noticed? by phone or e-mail???

I’m confused at how someone was taken off the list before they said they were reviewing the applications…

Has anyone received transfer credit evaluations, housing info or anything else from GT? I have only received the acceptance letter and financial aid info, that’s it!

anyone on the waitlist hear anything? they said july 15th =/

i just received the e-mail… i got into an extended waitlist. this is unbelievable. I don’t think theres more than 3 people there haha

well, im on the extended waitlist too…
Does this mean they didnt get a chance to review all of the applications? Ughh this is frustrating =( at least its not a ‘no’ yet =/?

No, I am sure they did … it is just that there is no space available and we have to wait for students to withdraw…and I personally think that at least a couple have to withdraw in order to take someone off the waitlist

Just to let know everyone at CC … there IS an extended waitlist for transfer students which is absolutely painful and lasts til August 2nd haha.

Best of luck michaelungerr…lets wait for a miracle to happen! It is definitely not a no yet…but a not likely.

im curious as to how large this extended waitlist transfer student pile is… bleh its like we’ve made it 98% of the way.hoping for the best for both of us.

well, i got a call this morning saying i was accepted off of the list! i couldn’t believe it haha
