And should I fax them from the school?

If they are really important accomplishments, I’d still go ahead and update your application. Can’t hurt.

I think it may pull you to waitlisted for further look at you application if originally you were denied.

Decisions are coming up! At least I have school to distract me from this craziness!

I don’t think any of my recent awards are major…I just won some stuff from Science Olympiad and my school.

Less than 100 hours to go!

@satman1111, what do you mean less than 100 hours? Do you know the decision notification date?

@chicagob0und
Almost everyone knows the decision date. It is March 27th, 5pm EST. Harvard will send out mass emails informing everyone of their rejection, waitlist, or acceptance.

@chicagob0und

March 27, 5 pm

@matrixsurgeon, @Romain291, Thank you for the information!

Is that EST?

So not looking forward to next week. Not only am I going to be rejected but I am also getting braces. -_-

EDT

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to send them an email talking about one of my international awards, and my new network/club I’ve created. Awesome!

What was everyone’s supplementary essay about?

@TheW8iskillingme which essay? As I recall there were two (or three?) - a required and an optional one

I guess I mean the optional one (not the common app essay!)

Roommate!

I wrote about I guess “travels” or something that affected you (something like that)

I wrote about how the young adult novel The Book Thief made such a huge impact on my life and opened the doors to all sorts of weird and awesome types of literature and writing, and basically my view on the importance of words and writing, etc. It was the one place I was actually serious in my entire application (my other Harvard essay and my Common App essay were both rather sarcastic and silly pieces).

I wrote about one of my passions in detail.
