Waitlisted. Better than rejection I guess

I still donāt have an emailā¦ :-(

Friend and I just got massacred. Me-
rejected everywhere except
waitlist- Brown, Dartmouth and Chicago.

Him-rejected everywhere except- waitlist Columbia.

Oh well. I guess weāll just have to start our hedge fund from a Berkeley dorm room. Wonāt have any trouble finding Mandarin speakers to work in the Asian Division!

@carbajalia,

Same exact thing with me! Rejected everywhere with waitlists at Penn, Cornell and Brown and my friend didnāt get into any Ivies either (though Iām not sure about waitlists).

Congratulations to all the newly admitted students! Youāre going to love Harvard.

Rejected. Quite disappointing being that Iām a legacy. Did anyone get in or did everyone get a rejection letter? Lol

Massacred by the Iviesā¦

I was wait listed. Gotta say Iām impressed. I just applied for fun. Iām Asian and one of my SAT scores was a 610. Iām not a Valedictorianā¦or a Salutatorian. Not an athlete.

My brother got waitlisted.

The letter said sometimes Harvard takes 100 people off the waitlist and sometimes they take 0.

Yowzers!

Also, the valedictorian at his school got into Harvard but didnāt get into any of the other Ivy League schools.

WHAT. THE. FRUIT?!

Massacred by all Ivies (aka rejected). Also, Iām a White Male with 4.0 UW and 16 APās taken, close to perfect ACT, varsity sport, tons of leadership and ECS, developed own iPhone app, etcā¦

Did I just start a new phrase?

I posted on this thread back in the earlier pages and I still canāt believe Iāve gotten into Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and MIT!! ahhh this is unreal!!

@carbajalia
Just check out the previous result threads. There are a lot of students like you who have got rejected with similar stats ( if not better).
Every person who applies to Harvard must be ready to face a potential rejection letter.

I like that. #massacredbytheivies
Itās crazy.

And for all those who havent gotten an email yet I have my fingers crossed for you!

Letās make #massacredbytheivies a popular Twitter hastag

Waitlisted

Have any of you guys seen the movie admissions? After talking with an admissions officer from Harvard (when my sister got in) she described the whole process. And itās basically identical to the way that movie portrays it.

I still have no email. What should I do?
