Does anyone know how many SCEA applicants there are?

yeah i’m wondering why harvard’s early numbers aren’t out yet…hum

Any idea when early action results start to come in???

13th I believe

@Yolie3000 They are sent by mail the morning of December 14th and are emailed at 5 pm that day.

I’m sorry I meant the 13th!

Has anyone else not gotten an interview yet?

i thought it was the 15th?

I guess this year it’s the 13th. [Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Freshman Application Process](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/application_process/index.html)

How is everyone feeling at this point about their chances? With only 19 days left, I’m becoming more and more pessimistic :/

@zhstkdblackbelt I’m actually feeling okay. Like, I figure, the worst that can happen is I’ll get deferred and get another chance at it. And if that doesn’t work out, I know that I’ll end up going to another great school and find people who are like me and things I can be passionate about. The world isn’t going to end. We have all worked too hard for the past four years to let one application decide our happiness or optimism!

^^That’s the way I should feel, but I know I’ll feel shattered when I get deferred, not just because it dampens the possibility of Harvard but because it means over 100 days till I know my future. You’re right though, we’ll all find new awesome people wherever we go.

i just keep convincing myself that I’ll get deferred, so I don’t feel too sad when I actually do.

2 things: one, where are the numbers? Harvard is last by a lot… and two, why is deferred the worst case scenario? Harvard doesn’t reject any EA applicants??

yeah harvard hasn’t released the numbers yet.
Well…Harvard does reject EA applicants, but that’s only for real below-average applicants, which I don’t think there are many here.

twoleftfeet: Same here.

Has anyone in the Los Angeles area not been contacted for an interview? Other people at my school have been contacted already, but I haven’t…I’m wondering, is this a cause for worry and should I call the admissions office?

Just saw this on YouTube… “College Hunger Games” satire. Accurate?

New on CC, my friends are longtime users so they told me to check it out. Dartmouth has long been my dream school but over the summer I decided to apply Harvard SCEA after touring and staying with a friend who was doing research in Cambridge. Fingers crossed! I doubt I’ll get in, though. I haven’t been contacted for an interview yet, I’m getting kind of worried…

maybe they’re just 100% sure they want you

first post ever on CC!
I submitted everything early/mid Oct and had my interview Nov 14th. Now it’s just the waiting game. Good luck to everyone!
