@shelly318 You’re right. It’s hard but we can do it!

I agree with Shelly; why try to cheat the system and spoil it all with some potential internet glitch? Even if it was in some way telling, arguments would arise and we’d all feel incomplete yet. Won’t it feel more wholesome, classy and finished once an official letter comes out? I’m not saying it’s “wrong” to look for a glitch, but I’d feel ugly, stripped down and hung out to dry if I found out I was deferred because of some accidental site update Harvard is attempting to patch up. Even if I got hypothetically accepted and a glitchy website was somewhat telling of that fact, I’d still probably feel like a cheat and particularly uncertain. 28 hours.

Wait, so the admitted students site works now, can anyone actually log in or does it say “incorrect username” for everyone?

S just sent me a pic of the updated “log in” page…
Anyone else getting this???

It says “Email decisions will be sent to the address on record Thursday afternoon at 5:00pm EST”

I definitely think we’re wasting our time trying to get early information about our decisions.

spikew is right, it will be much better to be accepted via the official email (and the rumored video) than otherwise. The admitted students website will probably go online at 5:00pm tomorrow.

update: they took down the application status website. So even regular decision applicants can’t log in, which means we will definitely have to wait until tomorrow.

@daishi55 What’s this rumoured video you speak of?

Guys I wish you GOOD Luck and GOD Bless you! I wish all your dreams to fulfill tomorrow.

May the odds of Harvard admission be ever in our favor

Regardless of how slim those odds are…

24 hours, on the mark. Good luck, everyone. See you on the other side.

Sooo… Any musicians here??? Just out of curiosity haha

Violinist here…sent in an art supplement

@ilovecollege95

I’ve just heard (actually I think I read it in a Crimson article) that after you login to the admitted students’ website, there’s a welcome/congratulations video. That’s all I know, but it could change year to year.

Haha same… Oh noes I hope there aren’t TOO many violinists applying haha

Wow. It’s not even a matter of days anymore…only hours. Still can’t believe we are old enough to be receiving our decisions from Harvard so soon, freshmen year feels like it was yesterday!

@daishi55: In 2009, this was the video that played when you checked the porthole for acceptances: [Harvard by the Numbers - YouTube](<a href=“Harvard by the Numbers - YouTube”>Harvard by the Numbers - YouTube)

However, since 2011, when Harvard started E-mailing acceptances, a video (sadly) does not automatically play. It may play once you go to the accepted student website though!

I’m a pianist, I sent an Art Supplement as well
Best of luck to everyone

i got incorrect username, did it work for anybody? I hope that was just a glitch that doesnt mean anything…
