I mean I feel like hoping to get into Harvard is not the best thing to do, considering how difficult is to get in. But, it is always good to put your best foot forward

I just advise all future applicants to choose your early choice wisely. Make sure it is a school that you really care about, but will be content with receiving a deferral/getting rejected. Do not be fooled into applying REA over the inflated percentage of accepted students (ED is a different story). The high volume of accepted students is often due to hooked or truly exceptional students. That is something to consider when choosing. Nevertheless, I have no remorse over applying to Harvard early.</p>
