Reached out to admissions last week and they said more decisions would be on Friday and again by next Friday 6/26.
But it does not seem like anyone on this thread was accepted or released last week. Should be this upcoming week but could go to 7/1. More waiting.
Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop in and wish you all good luck. Since I got released from the list life has become a lot less stressful. But having made it this far into the waitlist definitely indicates that you are all harvard material. I guess it’s the final countdown for everyone now. May the odds be ever in your favor.

The facebook group is up to 1730 from about 1650 in mid-May. There are definitely people there who are going somewhere else, which is annoying because it throws the numbers, but I think that an increase of 80 people probably represents those admitted from the waitlist.
They admitted 1990 with a yield of 81%, which is 1612 committed students. I think it’s fair to say that any students who were admitted, decided to check out the fb group, but eventually chose another school joined the group before May 1, so any subsequent increases are either a) those where were delayed in joining or b) those admitted from the wl. As of May 15, I don’t think anybody had been admitted from the waitlist, so there were at least 39 people in the group who weren’t in the actual class.
Assuming that those 39 are still hanging around (which is a big assumption, but delayed joiners and hanging arounders are very iffy variables here), 79 people have joined the group since May 15. Admissions said they would take 60-70 from the waitlist, so depending on what proportion of that 79 are late joiners it looks like they’ve probably admitted most of the people who they’re planning to admit from the waitlist. I just don’t think there would be that many late joiners, given how large a proportion are EA and how eager people are to go. Given how many have been admitted from the waitlist, I think that the majority of the people left will either be denied or z-listed.
TL;DR Waitlist weather forecast: cloudy with a chance of z-list.

Though apparently z-list offers can still come mid-July, so we’ll only get 99% closure.
