<p>hi guys i applied humec too. did anyone else get an informational interview? how much does it factor in on our application? </p>
<p>@missartsygirl Check out the ED discussion thread. It has been thoroughly covered there. To summarize, it essentially has no effect on admissions. It is purely informational and dependent on a CAAAN memeber living close to you.</p>

<p>Prospective PAM major here. I looked through Cornell’s Fall 2011 applicant # and # accepted by each college just now. I’m pretty shocked that only 400 males apply to the HumEc. I expected 1,000 !</p>

<p>@missartsygirl, I was contacted and had an alum interview. It was informational and enjoyable (and was luckily with a HumEc grad 
) but as many many others have already said, do not read into why/why not it is granted or expect any one on here to know why/why not. The topic has been way over-analyzed and is just not worth worrying about.
@BearBear10312, seems you males might have a hook not so much specifically in PAM but in HumEc overall (not loving the male-female ratio but I still love my prospective major so I deal with it)</p>

<p>Hey everyone! Just joined the board here…I’m applying to CHE for Design & Environmental Analysis. I’m so nervous about decision day coming up–my pessimistic college counselor told me to emotionally prepare to be deferred/denied but I’ve kind of just ignored her because I really want in. I wish you all the best of luck! :)</p>
<p>On a side note, do we know exactly what time decisions are given? I’m GMT-10 so it would be nice for me to know whether to stay up the night before or wait until the day of. Anyone have an idea? </p>
<p>Decisions are out on Dec. 11th, at 5pm (EST). I’m not sure what time it is GMT, but perhaps there’s a time converter somewhere? </p>
