*OFFICIAL* June 2012 ACT English section discussion

I put that.

@ set1012: Yup, I did

set YES! I was getting scared because half of the questions were choice A :P

And Iris yes its sprung

Was the answer to which makes the castle scary the old castle?

But shouldn’t u clarify what it refers to by not using it and directly refer plant?
Yeah I checked it’s sprung and I also got a lot of unchange at beginning

The sentence made it clear that they were talking about the plant, plus there was no other subject that it could be confused with within the sentence.

did anyone else put no commas or anything for the jumble umbrella one??

not the old castle it was a d word cant remember

for the castle one i had either B, C, or D. there was only one that made sense so its that one…it was not A. NO CHANGE

Forbidding castle

For the LEDs are you guys talking about strung, not sprung. The LEDs were strung from the ceiling.

yeah i think it was forbidding castle

I had no comma for the umbrella

It, not itself

Period with the dragon tongue

The word for the castle was forbidding or something like that.

Sprung

Sent from my ADR6400L using CC

^ yes to all @validity

for the plant one i put itself, anyone else with me? because when you put it into the sentence its unclear what the it is referring to

what was the tourists one

@set: tourists

i put itself

were you supposed to include the info about the hawiian island? I said yes b/c it sticks with the main topic: the plant and habitat. however, i could see it going the other way… saying it detracted from the main point about the plant… ugh. only question i’m unsure on for eng though

What are you guys talking about with sprung? I do not remember that at all.
