Official June 2012 SAT Math (US)

what was the question to the AC=10, BD=15? I don’t remember

For the compiled list, one of the questions was like " How many workers worked 3 days or more?" The problem had a pie graph and it said graph represented like 51 workers

^wasn’t it 1 day? and i think it was 17 not sure though

It was the ones for GREATER than one day, and the answer was 17.

The circle with triangle in it: 50pi-96
The one where g(x)=sq. rt (25x) and then g(4x)= k sq.rt (x). I put 10.
360 (a+b+c+d+e+f)
4 points inside the the triangle
30 sqroot 3
6400
240 for the perimeter question
I II III for texas (general consensus, but still hotly debated)
I and III for divisible by 3
3 for the sequence one
-4
10 connecting lines for the 5 dots
5/64
7(x+y+z) = 49p. y=5
For the question about the graph shifted to the left two units I got -4, or A.
6w (second multiple choice)
$1.84
II and III for the mean questions (25 and 30)
2n+3p+5
40/x
|p| + |-r|
-1 for (x+1)^2 + k (where intercept x=3 was given)
D/2 for radius
1600 for the pool question (filling and emptying)
2/7 for the probability question
21 for the parallel lines question
18 for the 4x=72 question
10 for the friday, saturday, sunday selling question
0<7x<x^2<100, x="" can="" be="" 8="" or="" 9="" calendar="" --=""> x = 7
x(x-2)(x+1) → answer was 2
For the one where it was circles on a line, I got 12
27 for the cube question
HEXAL → some possible answers are 18 (1,2,3,6,9,18), 20 (1,2,4,5,10,20)
4x is the even integer thats the least greatest with respect to 4xz-1
given a positive integer, x^2 is also a positive integer
7*10^(x+1) = 700000, becomes 7000 w/ x-1
11 numbers that are positive factors of 9 less than 100
(4/9)x = 2/9, find 8x was 4
150,000 for the car advertising vs apparel advertising
4x^2 for the reflected rectangle (discussed, but not on list)
Difference between 8 more than half of x and 8 less than half of x (Answer was 16)
2 equilaterial triangles, one with side length 10 and one with side length 7. difference between the perimeter s (Answer was 9)
17 workers (pie chart of 50 people who missed 0 days, 1 days, 2 days of work etc.)</x^2<100,>

49 questions

Graph:
/ (extending upwards after x=3)

Clara, Joe, Carly, inch problem. → 5’6

THINK GUYS! LOOK IN YOUR CALCULATORS! :)

Also, what do you guys think the curve for math will be? Is there any chance of having -1 be an 800?

“AC=10, BD=15, you had to subtract 25 from 26 (26-25) which gives you an answer of 1”

Does anyone remember what this question was? I vaguely recall one with a line with points ABCD on it. Were these the same? It said like AB=CD=5 or something.

I predict -1 = 770/80

Im pretty sure there were 3 really easy questions using a graph of buildings and city blocks and finding the distance

@asdtank I think that was experimental…

I had an experimental writing section I think

@asdtank did you have two 25 minute writing sections? where one had the improving paragraphs passage about pluto?

I completely do not remember this “city blocks” question.

Yeah I had the pluto section.
It was around questions 15-18 on one of the sections. It was one where there was a grid and they said that the firetruck or something could only travel along the lines. The called each unit something that i dont remember. But then they asked how many ways they could get to this point. And what shape would all the points 3 units away would form. And then I think one more I don’t remember.

I think -1 790. The test was pretty tricky.

@asdtank I don’t think that was on the test, lol.

Hey swing what question was the answer 5/64?

maybe im just confused haha.
well anyway,I think the first question with the number line was 5.2

@Full metal: The one where he first gave like 5/8 then gave another bit. It asked how much he had left.

@Bannedhero yeah he gave 5/8 away and then 7/8 of the remaining 3/8 away.

also was it 5.2? Er… I think you were given values of 5.6 and 6.0 right? so you garner that each tick is .2 and then work backwards twice.

5/64 is when a guy gives 3/8 of something to 1 person and then gives 7/8 of the rest to another person. therefore : 3/8 = 24/64 and 5/8 * 7/8 = 35/64
Therefore, what he has left is " 1- 35/64 - 24/64 = 5/64
