I don’t think 1 question would have brought you down from 800 to 760 on CR o.O perhaps 2-3?

I missed 3 total (I think), that’s a -4 composite. If I only missed 2, then that’s a -2 composite, potentially saving me 40 pts

660 critical reading
550 math
670 writing
1900 composite (9 on the essay)
This was my first time taking the SAT, and my national percentage (89%) stayed the same from when I took the PSAT. My score from the PSAT improved by 90 points, but my critical reading score actually decreased from a 680 to a 660. I’m going to retake it in the fall, any tips for improving my math score?

CR 680
math-650
writing 610

1940…I wished I did better, especially in math but since I am a sophmore and it was my first time taking it.

Here is something for all of you to laugh at (my scores):
Comp- 1590
CR- 600
M- 420
W- 570 (Essay, 8)

CR: 680 WHAAAAAAAAAAAT??
M: 740
WR: 700
Composite: 2120

Overall, i’m quite disappointed. But still, considering the fact that this was my first test and that i plan on taking it again.

Don’t worry, the first time I took it I got a 1500, and now my score went up to a 1600 which still isn’t what I wanted but I’m happy it went up. And it can only go up from here!

2360!

CR/M/W/E
800/760/800/10

ohhhh Math

Yeah but I’m a rising senior. I was going to do early applications. I had already taken the ACT twice. I don’t have it in me to take it again. This sucks so hard.

2280
760 CR, 720 M, 800 W!
Welp, I had a higher goal for math but oh well. Done with the SAT. On to subject tests!!

800 cr, 740 m, 800 w, 11 essay.

750m

Pretty glad with this score! But because it was my first sat and I’m only a sophomore, I’m planning on retaking it. What do you guys reccomend besides practice, practice and practice? Thanks

Lalibjutab, I feel you. I was super disappointed with my score. Difference is, this was probably my last time to take the SAT.
CR: 670
Math:680
Writing: 790
c/p January
Cr: 730
Math: 700
Writing: 750

Should I retake it?

800 Lit
720 Chem

it is “not yet available” even though i know that i didn’t score well , this status is killing me , has anybody had this problem

Well, this was my first time taking the SAT. I scored right where I thought I would and I’m satisfied (although not overjoyed) with the scores and I won’t have to take it again. :D

CR: 740 (A little disappointing, down from 77 on my PSAT)
M: 680 (Always my worst section, down from 69 on my PSAT)
W: 770 (77 MC/9 essay, steady from 77 on my PSAT)
Total: 2190

I kinda wanted a 10 essay and wanted 700+ on everything (Math is always my achilles heel), but oh well. Technically, I regressed a tiny bit from my PSAT. Some people say colleges look for an improvement from PSAT to SAT, but I hope a slight regression isn’t too bad. I mean, it’s hard to improve on a 223 PSAT without studying your brains out (I did study quite a bit, though).

May the odds be ever in your favor! :)

Composite: 1990
CR: 620 (up from my Jan 580)
Math: 720 (down from my Jan 750)
Writing: 650
MC: 69
Essay: 7
I thought I did better on Writing. I’m disappointed with my 650 bc I thought my essay was better than a 7

First time:
CR 630
M 740
W 730 = 2100
This time:
CR 660
M 790
W 790 = 2240

Thought my critical reading would go up more, but I can’t complain about math and writing!

Scored 1960 on the January test (680 m, 650 cr, 630 w) but scored a 2200 this time (760m, 740 cr, 700 w)!

June:
Math Level 2: 760
Physics: 750

May:
Comp: 2120
Math: 670 (far below my expectations)
CR: 680
