the question was: from the astronomer's quote, it can be inferred that his philosophy is:
thoughtful prudence
absolute isolationism

his quote was like: "we should not send messages out there without (some word that almost meant care) because that's like a baby calling for a tiger."

i have a very important question!!! i am begging SOMEONE to answer it for me... so far no one has discussed the problem involving a circle with two tangential lines. it asked about the length of an arc on the circle. does anyone know if this section was experimental? usually i am good at math, but i really didn't know how to do that... please someone, help!

the kangaroo (with "the greater")= no error
the executive will do blah after the committe "had done" blah, i put had done, shouldnt it be has done?
"after the expedition, very little attention has been paid to its discoveries", i put has been, should be was, rite?
what was the wet paint??
was the mikecia in paragraph correcting the one with -- --

i don't remember that as an answer choice. i remember only whole numbers.. i think it was soemthing like 5, 6, 8, 10... something like that... i'll try to describe it more. there was a circle with two tangents which intersected each other to the left of the circle. the circle was set at the origin of a coordinate plane. the problem gave the angle (x) of the intersection point (x=40). it then asked for the length of a small arc on a part of the circle. i still cant figure it out.

fermat - yes i got the mikecia one with dashes. im pretty certain it's correct. i put no error for the kangaroo but i wasn't sure. don't remember executive. "was" it right for the expedition.
