Official June 4 SAT Reasoning test discussion

With the Q about the kangaroo rat, did you guys say "the greater amount" of water was an error? It just didn't sound right...and I think it was redundant.

did anyone have these passages, and if you know if one's experimental (if you didn't have it) can you tell me?

art interpreter/monkey in painting passage
disneyland passage
double passage on the west
SETI passage
japanese poems passage

and why is "the greater amount" correct?

the prism cut out is 4. why? its 2(1/2) * 2/(1/2) * 2. 8-4 = 4.. divde 4 by 4 and you get 1. thus each little piece is 1 and the whole thing is 8 so its 1/8

I'm sure that it's eccentric.

o yeh it was eccentricity...yeh and itwas 1/8...im just worried it asked for the reciprocal of that i always mess up like that

yes im sure too!

So what will the math curve be like? One wrong = 800, 790, or 780? Any ideas, anybody?

yea ur right i get it now...well i got an 800 last time so it doesnt matter:)

for some reason i skippd over eccentricity...ah it looks like i didnt do better than last time

What the question in one of the writing sections "Beginning...(divers)" or "Having Began...(divers)."

did anyone get a sentence completion answer "elaborated...subtle" about a researcher

did you get 2400 though last time? >.>. they don't combine your best scores

Probably 790 for one wrong. That's what it was in March.

they don't?

i'm so lost... there are so many versions out there

I can barely identify my test with any of your questions!

what did u guys put for the last "no-error type question" that started with "That it is.." it was tricky...but the answer was B, rite?? im actually pretty sure because B was not parallel to the beginning...anyone agree???

does neone reemmber the one about walruses about their contrasting mobility on land and water.....and the blanks were about how they move in water and on land....i randomly remember one of the first blanks for underwater being fleet, which means like rapidly...i put that i think i dont remmber the rest

fleet is wrong

yeh grumpy im prety sure i put the elaborated/subtle duo for the one that said although the researcher elaborated on her ideas they were too subtle for the reporters to understand n they could only get the mainframe or whatever
