when are we getting our scores back? { first time taking an SAT test } also did you guys choose to submit it to a college? I don’t think i will because I did so bad

Yes, the half-life answer was 45. This test was definitely harder than all of my Barron’s 11th edition practice tests and I was getting 700-750 on those… I got 6 TT CE’s, I left 1 blank, and I hated that there weren’t more stoichiometry or solubility questions (what I’m best at).

I think the trip bond was CO

CO3 had a triple bond
CO2 had two doubles

I put germanium too. What was the question about the galvanizing?

triple bond was carbon monoxide (CO)

oh dang it. i omitted that one

Yeah I got the triple bond was CO, but what was the one that had one and only one pair of unpaired electrons?

Man I hate how low collegeboard is with penalizing people for guessing on questions…

i don’t remember the choices for the unpaired electrons

I think that was NH3 that had one lon
e pair. Used to Lewis dot method for that

Great that’s what I said!! Feeling slightly better, although I’m hoping for a generous curve…

can’t remember if I put NH3 but man, I think I’ve missed like 6 or 7 now and I omitted 6… this is gonna suck

Are the subject tests going to be different on October and the following months?
I’m really disappointed with my test D: fortunately I’m only a sophomore and I can still retake it next year

does anyone have a consolidated list of answers so far?

@lelouch The question asked which metal was used to galvanize steel.

Yeah let’s form a consolidated list, what were the first few questions. The first one was the one with fertilizer and glass components right? So let’s start there…

i said iron but i guess it’s zinc since it’s “galvanized”

anyone remember what could not happen with the copper wire?

what about the ttffce question on speed? He faster than Xe?

ya He is faster than Xe cuz its lighter (molecular weight)
