Why is it controversial. We were told this by admissions dean along with avton of others people during our visit. Didn’t they tell you this during the info session? Did I misunderstand?
My son got his acceptance letter today. Long Island New York
Just got mine, I was accepted. No scholarship though, but it seems like no one here has gotten anything in regards to scholarships. Unless I’m wrong, maybe they haven’t sent out the notification yet?
@Cam877 According to a tweet yesterday from Lafayette admissions, “All letters, containing all financial need & merit based packages, have now been mailed as of yesterday. Thanks for the question!”
@Cam877 Lafayette had previously notified scholarship recipients a week or 2 ago.
Son in CT did not get any merit aid and we did not qualify for financial aid. Looking at some very expensive offers at this point.
Did any international students get the marquis scholarship or any notification about financial aid?

My son got wait listed here in NJ but accepted at University of Richmond. Doesn’t make sense to us. Oh well! Moving on from Lafayette. Congrats to those that got the big envelope.

We are in PA and my daughter got waitlisted. She also got accepted at the University of Richmond…Her brother is currently a sophomore at Princeton University and through his process, we have realized it is all a crap shoot of who gets aaccepted and who does not. Congratualions to all that got accepted and good luck!
