hey does anybody remember whether the trapezoid's upper side length was 2.25 or 2.5. cuz if its 2.25 then shouldn't you plug 1.125 into the equation y = x^2 - 4 instead of 1.25 (what i've read in this thread)

What was the limit as x approaches 2 of (x^2 + x - 6)/(x-2) I said 5, but when i plugged it into my calculator i got big numbers.

Also, was the answer to the standard deviation one just the one with the most 10s?

for the limit problem: you factor the numerator so the equation turns into (x+3)(x-2)/(x-2), then simply and you get x+3, plug in 2 now and you get 5. i'm pretty sure its 5.

standard deviation: 8, 10, 10, 10, 10, 12. i checked on my stat function in the calculator. im sure of this one too.

Somehow for the boy girl one, I got (g-10)/2, I must have made the dumbest mistake. Anyway, for that limit question, it was most definitely 5 because I did it on my calculator and it said undefined.

What was the answer to the first question? Didn't you get something like: 4 - (-3) = 7?

hm... I don't remember what the top base length was anymore ....

was 7 one of the answers? Because that'd be the answer if it was 2.25, ugh.

hm...im a little scared about this test. do colleges see ALL SATIIs you take? or can you choose which ones they do. Also, do they see if you cancelled one?

I think it was 2.5, although I'm not sure.

You have the option of either sending ALL of your SAT (1 and 2) scores, or sending NONE of them. You can't select which ones you send. However, if you cancel your score, it won't be sent no matter what.

I'm about 98% sure about that

thank you!

the top length of the trapezoid was 2.5. im 100% sure

Does anybody remember the answer to the first question? People say it's A, but I think I got E. :(

I know I got a for the first one. Don't feel bad if you got it wrong, I got a lot of stupid ones wrong. I so far know of about 6 I got wrong and left 5 blank. I bet I get at least another 3 or 4 wrong too. There goes my goal of a 750. I'll be retaking

Yea, so far I've missed 3 and skipped 4...that 800 is looking awfully distant

I can't remember choice A and choice E...was choice A -7 or 7?

:: 2/(3sin^2(x)+2) is undefined at 3.87 (i made the bottom = to 0 and then solved for x...got a negative # and added it to 3.14)

:: what was the exact q for the last one? i don't remember....i was so tired of that test by the end of it....

:: i remember y = x for some problem...but don't remember the problem
:: std deviation was: 8, 10, 10, 10, 10, 12
:: pd of tan(2x) = pi/2 because it's usually pi but 2x would make it pi/2
:: 1/2 for probability (3 out of 6...i originally had some bizarre # but i went back and changed it)
:: 7.92 for the trap prob (average b1 and b2 times the height which you find by plugging into the equation)
:: 789 for painting walls (15x18+2(18x8)+2(15X8)) or something like that...too lazy to check my math...
:: 1-x^2 for that sin/cos question
:: i used law of sines for one q
:: for that line one i put infinite i think...i graphed it and the graph terminated at some points...but now i realize that it was my calculator producing bizarre graphs so that's one wrong...never thought of asymptotes, i'm so stupid x.x'
:: for the one where we had to do law of cosines, i messed up b/c i put the equation equal to the area...which was stupid....so yea...that's two wrong (that was the q w/ the sqrt37, 3, 4)
:: limit one was 5 b/c you factor out the top and you cancel the fraction and get (x+3) or something and you plug in 2 so you get 5
:: i got II/III for the numeral one...i just remember that III was right and I/II was also...so i chose whichever choice that was
:: range one was (1,2,3)...
:: 2+3i for that one...
:: i got 3 for the f(x) = 1/g(x)
:: boys = 2(g-10)
:: i got 7 for #1 (i kept doing 4-3 over and over and couldn't figure out why it wasn't one of the choices...thank god it wasn't, i would have gotten it wrong without thinking twice)

does anyone remember that parametric equation about the x-intercept? or y-intercept? or something....

don't remember any more. i didn't leave any blank and had time to spare...but i also rushed through so that didn't work well....

hey prettypretty, this is kinda random, but i'm from fremont too!

The last one was something like, find 6 consecutive multiples of 3 that multiply together to make (some ten digit number, with every digit given except the hundred millions/ten millions/millions). What is the sum of the 3 digits of the 10 digit number that were not given?

The actual wording of the question makes it sound simpler than that, but I don't remember the actual 10-digit number so that's the best I can do. I think the answer was 2+3+0 = 5.

parametrics intercept = 7

1 was A, if u remember wat u put

and r u sure its y = x, cuz i thot it ask for symmetry.... and that wuld be the origin

I got a negative fraction for the parametric intercept. I graphed it on my ti 89 and traced. I don't know how I could have screwed that up. but somehow I managed to screw a lot up on this test............
