Official May 2008 SAT discussion

Anyone remember the choices?
Edit: OH, I think it was 'The influence of telegraph was so paramount...'

No, that was the topic sentence question *the one before it... bah humbug!

@RDarin you're right. :D

does anyone recall a math question about how many ppl took physics and biology

So was the Italian/German one 9 or 6?

no, dont recall that

Fireman, go to the other discussion... fiery argument going on there right now about that question.

There was a sentence completion about the cartoons/lanterns and modern film. I narrowed it down to 'replica' or 'derivation'. I couldnt decide whether derivation meant the origin of something or the thing that gets derived.

So which one was it?

did anyone have 4 math sections

for the black girl going to an elementary school

does anyone know what the answer to the mirror question is? self-confidence/autonomy, i hope?

thats what i put

^^ same here.

I thought that was a pretty easy one.

im with ya

OH there was one about spoof theatrical genres... what was that?

I didn't think they were really 'GENRES'... so I put satirical and denizens (which means inhabitants)...

yea, i put that. what about the one about looking for magic with her friends?

yep satirizes def

That was using imagination for different perceptions of the world.

^ I think it had something with their different perceptions of the world.

magic i had something about imaginative world? maybe? am i thinking of the right one?

yup denizens thats what i put, as well as the autonomous one.
