Official May 2008 SAT discussion

That weird math question above about the lock is definitely experimental...wasn't on my test. Plus if the questions are really weird/hard then its most likely experimental.

i didnt think math was very very easy either. math section 2 with the german and latin question was definitely the hardest section out of all the math ones

@Quick. Yep, pretty sure of that.
I didn't even read all the choices... I had 'Since then' in my mouth after I read the sentence.
Lol.

I put innovativeness and since that time too...hopefully they're right!

i put shrewd to the cirque one because it was the only one that was right...

for difficulty (in my opinion):
math = 4/5 (i thought it was hard compared to march, my last one, but that was easy as hell)
cr = 3/5
writing = 2/5

I put shrewed decisions because in about the 3-4 sentence he said he was fascinated by the ingenious financial decisionS.

Paragraph improvement was not "Since that time" I think. Answer choices anyone?

i thought he said he was fascinated with the decision not to use animals because they were expensive? yeah well, guess im wrong

It was innovativeness ... because they didn't use animals... and they came up with a new tradition... (adults in circus... blah blah).
I'm 99% sure of it.

As for since that time, I'm 150% sure.
Trust me.

Yeah it is definitely shrewd financial decisions (that's all the author talked about in the passage).

Yeah, it's innovativeness

@Feed, another question for ya. Paragraph Improvement: there was one where you had to put a phrase in the beginning and the sentence was like "In blah blah blah 4 mins 33 seconds blah." It was like the next to last question I think.

Could be. I can't remember neither the question nor the answer choices.

on the circus one - innovation and adults? wasn't sure at all.

er.... what was the innovation one again?

@Quick that was... oh, I know what question you're talking about but I don't remember the choices... if you could provide any phrases or such I might remember.

It was the one with telegraph from Europe to India in 4 and 33 seconds...
The answer was definitely NOT 'It's no surprise then... blah blah'.

it wasnt a suprise because everyone was expecting it to work

Yea it wasn't not surprisingly, I put B.

oh yeah the telegraph one had a long answer, didn't it?

I said innovation for the circus w/o animals one.

Yeah, exactly!

Yes, I recall it is B

I took the sat today and i know i had a experimental section in math, do any you recall a question about certain kids taking biology and phyisc and some take both
