I had 4 eighth graders in my room… imagine what it was like for them
@SimplyUndefined I missed about 4 total in math. I suspect half of those were from the experimental.
@ayylmao1 I had an experimental math (I think there are a number of them in circulation every SAT), and mine had this chart with different musical notes and their associated frequencies. I also had something about electrical fields. It seems like CB is trying to make the math more “grounded” or “real-world” or something with all this applied math.
I omitted 9 experimental CR problems… thank goodness they were experimental…
For the question with the answer as 46/3, can anyone remember more details about it? Was it the similar polygons question, where one side is 10/3? Very foggy on the specifics…
Terraform, i’ll pm you the specifics
Does anyone know how to order QAS after taking the test??
Terraform the answer to the polygons question was 46/3. It gave a quadrilateral with sides 9, 10, 12, and 15. You just added all the sides up and divided by 3 to get 46/3.
TY! So happy, I think I mixed it up with some triangle question, and I knew some of the sides but couldn’t fit them onto a triangle lol.
What did you guys put for the question about te flowing feeling in the theater reading passage? Ebb and free flow or the one with inhibition
@Tennisfan01 I put inhibition. Can’t remember much more than that, sorry.
@daw3iy I chose the one about the poet, where a few poorly chosen words would do more damage to a poem than an uninteresting main idea.
Hey, did anyone get ‘skillful’ for the video game one? I thought the critic wouldn’t say skillful because he referred to video game makers as something along the lines of ‘mere craftsmen.’ So I thought he’s saying they’re just ‘mere craftsmen’ and they aren’t skilled in anything.
that slavery passage was cancer. I hope it was experimental.
And this next one is literally killing me: for the African American passage what was the purpose of the first 24 lines? I wrote to ‘depict the power of an organization’, but I was stuck between that and ‘to capture the drama of a moment.’ I decided against it because I thought the moment isn’t “dramatic” per se but that it’s capturing how powerful the council or whatever is and therefore showing why the author was so nervous. Honestly for that one I think both could work, but what did you guys write??
@NotTop8Percent It was! There was no slavery passage in mine.
@ayylmao1 I made up “Emperor Kyi” of the “Ang Dynasty”
You’re talking about the government one right? also i put power @TheCHAMPION
@TheCHAMPION its the drama one. I was doubtful too but if you look up the exact definition of drama, its an emotional, exciting, or unexpected series of events which is exactly what the paragraph is doing. It’s describing how shocked the author was
@NotTop8Percent hopefully we’re correct!
@ASAP123 I still feel doubtful… I think the other one works just as well. That’s a major burn though if you’re correct.
