---Official May 3rd Sat Thread---

hey... wondering if anyone could help me out here.. i gave the May SAT as a standby student, any idea when n how i'll get my scores? Some official told me I would get them online if i mentioned my email address in the form (i have a collegeboard account of the same) and said that i should get it then, though others are telling me i'll get it through mail.

I'm confused. I really don't want to stay waiting until the first week of June to find out what I got. Damn, I wish I had registered earlier.

Can anyone point something out for me pls? Much appreciated.

Yo Gabs its only 4 days!

And vandi_loyd, you might be able to see the scores when they come out just by logging onto your collegeboard.com account and clicking on view SAT scores. This depends on whether or not your website account was used to register for the test...I think.

yes 4 dayssssssss
gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

thanks.. thats what I'm confused about. I emailed them and I got the same reply that regular kids get.. results will be out on the 22nd etc etc. Guess I just gotta cross my fingers and wait. I hope it comes there, or I get an email or something. It'll give me an idea of what I should expect from my applied college.

oh hey.. i had a reading section about a female author on her experience at boarding school .. I guess that was an experimental section?

yeahh vandi i think it was. so what were the experimental RC sections--- i had an Antarctica passage, stone-paint, a story of a black girl who goes to boarding school or something, does anyone know?

what? vandi i'm guessing ur talkinga bout the "black girl who goes to boarding school" that cupcakezzz mentioned. not experimental

oh and my 2nd section was an experimental writing lol..which is good cuz i failed that section XD

^Me too, that one was damn tough...thank god it doesn't count

Oops! I meant 4 days....ugh it still feels like an eternity! ;)

oh right, so for that black girl boarding school excerpt was the answer to one of the q's "an adult reflecting on a childhood experience".... i can't remember the other option, but I know that is the one I picked after vacillating between two for like 5 mins

yeah.... I cannot wait anymore.... I ommited 11 CR qs. coz i really dont know how to do... i am afraid that if i did them, i will be wrong and minus marks consequently. but it is really a lot of qs.. I also ommited 3 qs on writting secrion. Hope that I can achieve my goal..

oh i did the stupidest thing ever

i attempted each n every question

i decided to give the SAT 24 hours before the paper. lol. so i wasn't much prepared as I already had finals going on. Gave it a shot though for the sake of it. unfortunately that translated in $127 for me. hehe. lets see what the score turns out to be. one practice paper usually isn't enough prep. lol

guys, this is my first post.I have taken three times SAT so far. and 3rd may was my final effort. At first, I thought that I cracked it, but after consulting with a friend of mine, I realized that I had manyy mistakes in CR. What do you think?those that have taken SAT several time. Was it hard? because I am totally puzzled!

iv given similar tests all the time.. in fact im in the second yr of uni n i must say, the english section of the SAT this time around was pretty difficult from what iv done or seen in th past. Wasn't amused at all. Math has always been my weakest subject by far, and for the first time i came out of a paper thinking that since i was in grade 1 till now, this is the only time my Math went better than the English section(s).

<3 math, easiest on the SAT.

yeah.. reading comp was definitely harder and it was my experimental so I freaked out because I thought they were all hard an I was trying to decide which one was experimental lol

would collegboard have to notify me if my scores were voided?
there was a fire alarm during my test... but the administrators said they would call ETS and notify them but keep taking the test.
i'm so nervous that when I check to see my scores tomorrow, they will tell me they were voided.
can this happen?

i think i will be disappointed.

oh well

Is anyone staying up late tonight to find out scores? What time do they normally come out? I'm so nervous!
