I am an American who got accepted into the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science for Food Science and Nutrition. Still waiting for scholarship notifications.

Congratulations to all those accepted, and good luck to those who are still waiting!

1). Has anyone been to the campus connect admitted students day? How was it…?
2). How stringent is McGill on “maintaining your academic standards” or whatever the wording is for keeping up the good grades? I ask because I have had all As throughout high school, but it looks like I might end senior year with two Bs and four As in classes. Will this be a problem?

Those of you who have been accepted to FoAES, you do realize that this program is at the Macdonald campus, right? It is in Sainte Anne de Bellevue, a suburb, not in Montreal.

@Crazylawyer
It updates at any time. The day i got accepted, i checked minerva in the morning and nothing had changed, and then when i came back from school and checked again, there it was.

Looks like I’m facing a rejection for grad school… the only way I’m going to attend McGill now is through cross-registration of graduate classes.

I’ve been accepted to McGill too ! I am from Turkey and really excited about being a McGill student. But I wonder that are they going to look at only our 12th year second semester grades or our total high school gpa?

The only moment where I could contemplate a transfer is if the research grants of the supervisor at the school I’m going to enroll at are cut. Plus, if I wanted to transfer from a grad school to another, I would need to find a supervisor willing to take over my project before applying.

Can anyone give an explanation of what “Admitted pending Final Results” means? Also do we get an admission email or letter in addition to the minerva status update?
Thank you

@Cesacap you will be able to download a pdf that will have your letter of acceptance they will not send you one.

What admitted pending final results means that you have to submit your final high school transcript and your proof of graduation, that way they can verify that after you get accepted you don’t get a bunch of F’s and do nothing…

Accepted to Bachelor of Science (Life Sciences) and Bachelor of Sciences (Environmental Sciences), but I’m not going to be sure if I will attend until I receive a notification of financial aid! Even though McGill is my dream school, finances get in the way…
