^ RD results will be mailed on March 27 and will be available online after 8 a.m. the next day.

I received my username and password a couple of weeks after I submitted my supplement. It should have been sent to your email, so check in your spam mail to make sure it didn’t slip in there. If not, just give them a call to ask for it. This is the application status webpage: Middlebury;

^ Thanks for the correction, mrscollege. The date I posted was the one on the email sent to me in December. I double-checked on their website, and it looks like they moved up decisions day. Nice surprise.

Hi there. I am an international RD applicant and hope to see all of you this Sep

Here’s some info that I heard about the Need-blind thing:
Mr. Clagett came to my city and gave info session saying that they are not going to be a need-blind school this year, the international applicants who are applying for FA will be less desirable (as previously said), but they do offer FA to very qualified students. (Harvard, Yale and Princeton might be the only 3 fully need blind colleges for international applicants). Hope it helps!
I felt that Mr. Clagett is a very nice and smart man and I became very interested in Midd because of his introduction

Just to clarify on what acarter says above, while midd is not need-blind for international students, it is need-blind for US students. Some will disagree that need-blind is actually need-blind for anyone, but according to their website and everything put out by the school, Middlebury remains needblind for US students and if you are accepted as an international student, the school will meet the full demonstrated need (according to their calculations) of international students.

Good luck everyone! It’s such a stressful month!Stay cool, and I hope you all get nice fat envelopes. My waitlisted son got in eventually(May) and he loves it! He’s been skiing, joined the campus Dems, newspaper, and of course, studying(I think)
His brother is an accepted ED athletic recruit, so I hope you’ll get to meet them both in the fall!

I tried to get them to go to Bates, but they both thought it was too far away…

Bates is a great place too, I visited last year and enjoyed seeing some of my profs. My kids were impressed that 1)They still recognized me 2)They all sat and chatted with the 3 of us for 20 minutes or so. Clearly a caring institution!And I graduated in 1981(gasp!)

Middlebury does do early writes. At least they did for the 2006-2007 cycle. Financial aid information was posted along with decision information at 8 am for the 2006-2007 cycle as well.

They do do early writes and I got one today! The Dean of Admissions wrote a nice personal note on the bottom of the letter, too. My letter was dated March 8th but mailed on March 15th.
