Still no word from school, but DS did receive an email from OU’s National Scholars Staff. Good sign?

The lower scores simply reflect a harder test. It says nothing about the academic abilities of the class of 2013.

Okay, I know WA’s cutoff is way lower, but I finally got verification today from my counselor that I was a semi-finalist w/ a 222! :D

I forgot to ask her what the actual cutoff was, though…

I saw the NMSF booklet today and glanced at a few cutoff scores…

California is a 221, once again. It did not drop, from what I remember.

Colorado is a 212.

Massachusetts is either a 221 or a 220… My memory escapes me, though I am certain it is one of those two. I’ll check more states on Monday…

Just got email from Guidance Counselor.

Daughter has 214 in Illinois and qualified for SemiFinalist.

SORRY, I DON’T KNOW HOW TO PROPERLY QUOTE A POST

Lol, in a few days when we all get back to school we can verify everything.

Why don’t I have my mail yet? :(

Yes… I’ll try to relate more from the book Monday. I know it’s this years because my name is in it (and it says 2013 on it).

I can write stuff down more concretely Monday.

EDIT: Tuesday… Monday is labor day.

And I can verify that the California cutoff is indeed 220. I know for fact that the number listed in the book was no lower than a 220 for California and Massachusetts.

Seriwe, please please please post Idaho’s score! I talked to a former NMSF and my school didn’t tell him until mid September and most Idahoans don’t use this site.

Seriwe - can you possibly check out the Louisiana cutoff and post? Thank you!!!

Someone posted that floridas cutoff is a 212
