Same ^^
Denied from ct…I was deferred EA and I’m kind of upset because I thought I worked hard enough to get in. 1370 sat, 4.5 gpa, approx. 4th in my class out of 240, very involved, lots of leadship. I got into BC (29% acceptance rate) but not here (28%). I guess that one percent makes a difference. This was my top choice school and the only one I’ve been denied from. Oh well, it’s probably my sat scores
Dang…That helps…
do you guys know if the nu in program is only study abroad first semester or can it be a gap semester?
My son just received his acceptance via the portal. We live in NC.
Good luck everyone!!
Oh god I cant believe you got denied @ktf1117 RIP my chances lol
@athered1 how strange! im in NC as well but nothing? congrats to your son!
@Athered1 do you know your son’s stats?
@camwowyou have to study abroad through their program
Ny isn’t out yet
it doesn’t seem like there’s any order anymore… we have a person from FL who knows but their friends dont, and another from NC who knows and I dont
Accepted 29 ACT (36 on MATH), 1310 SAT, 3.8 UW/4.3 W GPA D’Amore-McKim, MA
Did anyone apply to the college of health sciences?
@camwow If offered NUIn you must study abroad in the fall. You cannot take a “gap” semester.
alrighty thank you!
@WeR2021 YOU GIVE ME HOPE
NU in sounds like fun. Do fall students also get some sort of thing like studying abroad for 4 months in the country of their choosing? During another semester?
He goes to a competitive boarding school in New England and is on the honor roll, but grades aren’t perfect.
ACT 34. SAT 1500/1600 and 2150
Varsity crew, JV hockey, Drama, Tech and a few clubs.
No particular hook. Good recommendations from a top private school, though.
@ethanwatson4 Yes, it’s just regular study abroad. They can also do international co-op.
Something I failed to mention is that both of my friends were deferred from the EA application pool but I’m not sure if that would make a difference @srichter
