@keashane Did you visit or show interest? I wonder if they figured you weren’t coming and that you were using it as a safety. What major did you apply for?

Congrats everyone who got in! I was deferred and now accepted for civil engineering. 32 ACT 4.0 UW and 1400 SAT. But no mention of financial aid. Where are we supposed to find it

@suzyQ7 I did not visit or interview or anything. I applied for Computer Science. I’m not sure why they would think that I would not attend. It is very likely that if I was accepted I would have attended. I thought I was pretty much in the target range for the Honors College there but maybe I’m wrong. I guess I will just have to see how my other applications turn out, still got 7 more colleges to hear back from and I’ve always got the three I was already accepted to just in case. I was thinking after I read the decision though, that I’ve heard that some colleges blacklist certain high schools- I don’t know if that’s true or not, but if it is it’s plausible that that is why I wasn’t accepted. Perhaps that’s just wishful thinking though, it is more likely that my essays, recs or extracurriculars were just not quite up to par with what the admissions committee was looking for.
