** Official Northwestern Class of 2021 Discussion Thread **

I’m so friggin happy. I did not expect to get so much money. Their FA makes Northwestern pretty much the same costs as my public schools I recieved (CA resident). This makes me feel more confident for the Ivies and their FA (well, that is if I even get in)

Northwestern is so lit for this

@Calvillo321 u a fckn legend bro lol

Has anybody applied to Northwestern but not heard back yet??? Because I have not and I am beginning to get worried

I have not gotten an email either! But I do not know if I was even accepted or not. How do you know you were accepted without an email?

@broadshoulders did you try creating the portal to view your decision?

Did you create an account to check your admissions portal?

if not the link is here: ugadmission.northwestern.edu/account and you can do forgot your password with your email that you used and it will send you the password so you can log in to see it!

@abigails98 @AznDude525 How do I create my portal/account?

if I remember right you go to the page to sign in to the account, put in your email, then do forgot password and follow the instructions they email to you

https://ugadmission.northwestern.edu/account/login?r=https%3a%2f%2fugadmission.northwestern.edu%2fapply%2fstatus

@abigails98 Oh my thank you soo much!!!

if you don’t have a pin just do “forgot password” and it should all work out @broadshoulders

This thread seems to be exhausted (sorry if I helped kill it!). Best wishes to all admits and non. I’m sure all who care to even read threads like this have abundant possibilities for success. Cheers!

Do you know when NU generally releases waitlist acceptances?

@voltthorn - WL decisions are all after May 1st (that is after the national candidate reply date), and may go on till mid to end June (depending on how many people move from one college to another to another to another).

Does anyone know the acceptance rate of NU this year?

@lanabanana99 I believe it was around 5% this year

@cloverpatches where did you get that figure…? Overall acceptance rate is most likely between 9-10%.
