@divein im waiting for mine too! I live in NorCal and this thread is really stressing me out now

Decision: Accepted

Objective:

SAT I (breakdown): 720 Ā® 700 (M) 740 (W)
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0. (UW) 4.4 (W)
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): 1/400
AP (place score in parenthesis): Mixture of AP, College in the classroom, honors and a few regular classes.
Senior Year Course Load: Includes 4 AP classes
Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): National Merit Commended, NHS, Mu Alpha Theta, etc.

Subjective:

Extracurriculars: Wonāt list everything but signature ECāpresident of a 125 member school organization that improves access to health care in the community. Several other leadership roles at school and church where impact extends beyond the school walls.
Job/Work Experience: 3 years working in food service with customers, cleaning up, etc. Often the only person working in store with managerial responsibilities.
Summer Activities: 3 year Catholic camp leader and part-time job
Essays (rating 1-10, details): Very down to earth. Common app essay connected a significant personal loss with passion for service. ND supplements showed a love for putting words into action.
Recommendations (rating 1-10, details): Waived right to see them
Applied for Financial Aid?: No
Intended Major: Business, pre-admitted to Mendoza
State (if domestic applicant): West Coast
School Type: Public
Ethnicity: White
Gender: Female
Hook: Legacy that took nothing for granted. Knew the stats and essays needed to be there.

Reflection:
Strengths: GPA, Class Rank, extracurricular activities and essays showed passion for Universityās mission and Catholic character
Weaknesses: SAT (even though itās in the 50th accepted percentile for ND, itās the element of the app that was worried about most)
Why you think you were accepted: Top class rank gave wiggle room to be āonlyā in the middle accepted percentile for SAT. Personal story of finding purpose in difficult times showed grit and character. Legacy was the icing.

General Comments:
Never give up. A shot at ND is worth taking the SAT a few extra times (took it 3 times here, ugh!), writing and re-writing essays until they are just right, etc. You can do it!

@cbart28 I think all the decisions were mailed out on the same day, but I might be wrong.

Hey GoldDaises and sdhotmama, where are you from specifcally? I am also in south Cal and nothing yet.

It is possible that they rejected me because I thought I was a bad fit.
