I think many invitations go out…doesn’t me anything either way. They just want you to see the school if you haven’t already seen it. But if its all expenses paid then I would assume that your a shoe in! I don’t work for ND…waiting just like everyone else for the “golden ticket”
Thanks for the feedback! I was just confused by the opening phrase:
"Dear X,
We have reviewed your application for admission and are convinced that you are likely to be admitted to Notre Dame…" Is this the same as a likely letter?
Not sure who is it from? Admissions? Dean?
Best bet would be to call the school or just attend? Why wouldn’t you go? It’s an amazing campus…if you are lucky you’ll have that “it” feeling. Like “yeah I see myself here, I see myself finding a new family, new friends, new future, possible new me…”
@Seacoast it’s from the admissions branch and you’re right, it’s a no brainer I’m definitely going to attend!

@Seacoast the dates are April 8-11th! The wait has been so bad for me as well, I was losing hope for a while!
MIT decisions come out on 3.14 day, so I am currently watching people on MIT cc threat, it’s so fun to watch and help me stop thinking about the colleges I am waiting hahaha
@PantherNation1 that is great…will you go if you get in? @Zpower99 you continue to help me through the day…did you guys see the puzzle admissions sends out? Wouldn’t that be a great way for all of us to find out we got in…good old snail mail and we all receive the puzzle…WOW!

Just read the MIT thread…everyone is freaking out as well. What’s interesting is they all type in broken English perhaps all International with English as a 2nd 3rd or 4th language…so jealous…boggles the mind that people are so smart!

If an email would be sent out today 1) would we receive it at 6:42? 2) Would that mean decisions come out on Friday, Saturday, or next Monday? Curious what everyone thinks according to years past.
