Any idea why ND’s SAT vs ACT average scores have such a difference?
Isn’t a 1440 on the SAT (25th SAT Percentile) a 31? But for the ACT, 25th Percentile is 33.

The 25th percentile is actually a 32, based on the common data set.
More students submitted their ACT scores to Notre Dame than SAT, thus the higher scores

I’m not sure what your point is. Some kids submit ACT and some kids submit SAT. Most ND applicants submit ACT as it is in the Midwest. More importantly, admissions are holistic and dependent on a number of factors of which the SAT/ACT is just one.
Also, I don’t believe that the ACT organisation agrees with the SAT to ACT concordance tables.

Good Luck to all. My son was accepted to ND in December and it was a thrill for him and us as parents. I wish that feeling to all. It is a special place but remember it will work out great and wherever you find yourself you will probably end up loving

I’m going with tomorrow and feel that chance is 98% better than me being accepted.
This is like the road trip where the closer you get to your destination the more you need to use the restroom. Survived being deferred and the next 30 hours will take years off my life.
