@a20171 thank you!! I also appreciate the precision.
@mimimo7890 I’ve dreamed of going to Notre Dame ever since I was a child… I’ve always been so prideful about how my father graduated from there… and, when I’m on campus I seriously can’t think of any more beautiful place in the country, so ultimately YES but my chances are so very low that I have tried to take a neutral approach and really be excited about the other universities I got into which are also great places and likely options. At the bottom of my heart there is hope and if I even got in to their transfer program I’d literally maybe die. Or something close. I’m not sure. I can’t fathom it.
@nduclaunc same exact thing for me except my brother and close family friends go/went instead of my parents. I really hope you get in!!!
Thanks so much @mimimo7890 . I’m rooting for you too
Thanks !! @nduclaunc I’m actually going to be on campus tomorrow too!!
Does anyone know when the decisions come out? Something more specific then mid or late March. Thank you
@mimimo7890 wow!!! I absolutely love it there. Soak it all in for me.
@nduclaunc I was only there for an hour visiting family but It was great! I saw Chris Christie at O’rourkes too haha
nah none of us know the acceptance date…soon, we all hope soon! Have a great week!
@Seacoast
Thank you
I don’t know if this helps but EA decisions came out on a Monday (they came out on a Monday last year as well), exactly the same number of weeks after the application date as last year. Assuming RD is the same, decisions should come out on the same day of the week as last year’s RD decisions. They should also be released the same number of weeks after January 1st as last year.
I hope that makes sense^ Sorry if I’m not explaining it right. If I remember correctly, EA decisions came out on the Monday 6 weeks after November 1st both this year and last year. Using this methodology, you should be able to figure out when decisions come out this year.
@DryMango but someone told me they wouldn’t announce on March 17th…same as last year…day of the week…due to St. Patrick’s Day
Hey guys! Does anyone know what percent of students who get deferred REA at Notre Dame get accepted RD?
I don’t know the percentage but defered rea have an advantage in the rd pool
So I’m guessing on either the 15,16 or 18?
Do you think they’d release decisions on a Saturday?
my guess would be 16th or 20th @ 18:42
I just received an email stating i was not a finalist for a scholarship but essentially said I was accepted to notre dame
Same. Feel quite sad about it. But from the wording I feel like I am in for the uni at least?
are the merit scholarships only for international students? i didnt even know nd did merit scholarships
