@redrabbit23 hmm. but wouldn’t arbitrary be “without reason” rather than ambiguous? so the answer would be, author 2 would think that the meanings would be more clear WITH punctuation? guess we’ll just have to see

@redrabbit23 yeah I was literally between those two and another one which I can’t recall

btw does anyone know the roman numerals answer? I put I and III because I wasn’t sure whether n is the same every time or not

What was the laughter one with the girl going to her house lol

Also what did you guys put for what does “conceive” mean in the context of the passage for the corn article. I put C I think, it was some word that started with a d? Can’t quite remember.

@wchristen89 I think the question was along the lines of “What would author 2 think of language without punctuation?”

@Pistachionut1996 I said something about keeping the family healthy?

Oh I thought it was to keep the sTories more memorable or something like that

Pistachionut1996 you’re right

@redrabbit23 I actually said that it can make lessons memorable. Because it said something about poke fun of their follicles to make them not make the mistake again.

I said it was to keep the family healthy (however it was worded)

the one with the roman numerals was just number 1
because the other 2 did not work on the 4th or 5th terms

did you guys get a lot of no error in the writing?

Was the pen passage a tribute to a common item or a defense of an uncommon preference

i said the healthy one but was uncertain

I think my reasoning was that somewhere in the passage it talked about that sharing stories with each other helped to make gloomy/ sad days endurable (paraphrasing) so I associated that with health but I am not sure at all.

@victorp are you sure? I checked and III worked? and I only got like 3 no errors :/

@Pistachionut1996 no. thats wrong. a straight diagonal line meeans the speed was constant as the time increased. he slowed down. the answer was A

@ChubbyPanda111 it was the one that went up and then curved a little right?

Was the pen passage a tribute to a common item or a defense of an uncommon preference

Tribute to a common item
