**Official** NOVEMBER 5 SAT I Thread!

one of the questions asking how many more diagnos a 10sided polygons has than a 9sided polygons, is it 35-27 = 8

thanks alot taffy, i got that one right...whew !

alwaysfaithful: yup, classic plug and chug

do you think you remember if the surface area (26) question is on the 9th section (the section before the 10min grammar section)?

I seem to remember it was. Im pretty sure that is NOT experimental.

f(-3) = -4

that question, anyone get 2?

then that means the trepazoid is on the 25 mins section, and since the folded box is on another 25 mins section in the first half, does that mean the trepazoid could be an experimental section for me?

I got 2 for that question too.

Anyone remember that short passage about the guy heading south or something to kiss and make up with the girl? Was the answer about that chick Sally her moral integrity?

collegehopeful99

I'm pretty sure the answer to the second question for that short passage was her complex personality.

The author states in the passage that Sally showed Harry an entirely separate side of her personality and that she had quite a few personality facets to show.

I was going to put her complex personality, but it said in the thing that she had "clearly defined" sides or something. Something that is clearly defined cannot be complex...that's my reasoning.

I'm pretty sure it was about her having a complex personality because clearly defined sideS implied that things about her weren't just straight and simple. Her accepting a marriage proposal has nothing to do with a marriage proposal (nor was their any mention of her morality in the passage).

It said that she had reserved her love for the guy. I don't know, I just got a sense of moral integrity there.

Bleh...I'm wrong. I suck. Should I cancel my score?????

EDIT: Light mock of fellow CCer's there...I'm obviously not serious. :)

I don't believe it said that she reserved her love for that one guy...just that she loved him with the side she kept for loving, if I'm not mistaken. For some reason, I felt like I had read that passage before somewhere.

but he asked her to marry him right? if not, thats 0 for 2 haha

He definitely asked her to marry him.

Does anyone know what was the CR experimental section? I don't think I had an Aristotle section, yet I definitely know that I had a CR experimental section. =/

I don't know how all of you remember what you've read in those short passages. I wouldn't be able to remember them if my life depended on it.

I've heard people say that the passage that dealt with the Socrates painting was the experimental section...

There was the Socrates, Trinidad, quantum physics, and that airplane one. Thats all I remember anyway.

I didn't have anything with Aristotle.

...or Socrates.

I didn't have a Socrates painting. The main passages I remember reading were about deception, illusion in art, quantum physics, and something else that I can't remember.
