Did you just get the email Isabelle? And may I ask when you applied?

HS Transcript still has not been checked off lol…Who can ask them how do they update their system, why some people’s material is checked off early and some else’s not?

@isabellerosa are you a junior transfer? cuz it seems like junior transfers are rejected first right now.
gahh i had a 3.82 last semester, now i’m really scared! ><

As someone who’s planning to apply as a transfer next year, I wish best of luck to all of you who are going to get your decisions soon. From all the posts I’ve read, you all deserve to be in this school.

Rejected 3.8
Junior transfer
CAS

Seems like only rejection letters are going out today. Gah, I’m a junior transfer too. So nervous now… :(

do you guys think they consider the prestige/difficulty of the school you’re transferring from? I only have a 3.35 because I got a C in a math course, but that wouldn’t apply to my major at NYU since I’d be MCC anyways. I have all A’s & A-'s in my other classes, and I’m transferring from the University of Southern California’s business school, which has a notoriously hard grading system.

@ Loolala Gahh…I’m a junior transfer too! Junior transfers might be the ones to hear back first.

I was accepted to Gallatin this morning!! Good luck everyone!

My transfer credit did not show up until today, and I was never asked to send additional transcripts.

@alcal1021

As a junior/sophomore?

Sophomore. I only have 1 week to respond though… Is that normal??

Crap! Now I’m getting so nervous. Do you guys think the date you sent in your application has anything to do with when you get an admissions decision? I’m a junior transfer and I applied to CAS in early March. My GPA is a 3.96, but my school isn’t very prestigious. I’m almost giving up hope on getting in now I hate the anticipation!

@MA2011 yes, the prestige of your college and program can make a difference.

@alcal1021 not sure, but on their website it says you need to give a decision 3 weeks after their notification…but I would just do what their letter says. Definitely try calling them to clear it up.

Well others got like 3 weeks, so I guess the deadline to enroll is next week…so i think if we havent been accepted, we may not be o.o. idk I’m guessing…bc then what would be our deadline?

did you receive a letter or email? So nervous.

@WorriedAlways
You’re right…AH. NOOO :(

@worried always, my guess is the one week response time is so they can fill more slots quicker and offer admission to more people

Has anyone that applied to Tisch heard back yet?
I wonder if we will still have a week to respond if we don’t hear back until next week.
Props to NYU for getting these decisions out much earlier than last year, though.

Idk, maybe. I mean they still wait list transfers I think. Idk though. I mean if this pattern follows we won’t know until next Tuesday/Thursday. -.-

There’s a good chance I will die in that case

@qwertyabc
Right there with you.
