They give you the university id in your acknowledgment email. Nothing special about it.

Does anyone know the latest they might notify us? I heard in the past some people didn’t get notifications until late May…

I’ve always had that My Academics tab thing too, since I studied abroad at NYU last fall. Are you able to enroll in classes? Because when I click on enroll, it says “You do not have access to enrollment at this time”

giantmidget
I cannot enroll, probably because my transfer credits haven’t shown up…But I NEVER had any study program or anything with NYU before…Its weird, I hope this is not due to a system error, or I am dying…NYU please DONNOT fool me…

And Giantmidget do u have the list I talked about?

@giantmidget
Where’d you study? I was in Florence :)

Also, my friend got in last year and she wasn’t notified until early/mid June, so it could be a very, very long time.

I’m kind of surprised no one has been wait listed yet. It’s all been acceptances and rejections right?

@meillur
As I said before, I do have the list.

In London. Greatest experience of my life. I wish there was an NYU in London with a proper campus - I’d love to do all 4 years there!

@giantmidget
Ah! My friend Matty was there. He loved it. My experience was amazing too. I still am really close friends with everyone I lived with. One of my roommates had actually been at the Florence campus for over a year already, and she stayed for Spring semester too. I think that in some cases, NYU will actually let you stay in the abroad program for a while if you can take enough classes for your major (she’s an Art History/Italian Studies major, so that worked out really well for her).

I’m so hoping that having already taken NYU classes, they’ll be more willing to accept me. I applied to do Spring in New York this semester and was accepted for that too, but I ended up having to go back to my home school because I couldn’t use my consortium agreement to attend classes domestically. I just want to go to NYU so badly!

Hey everyone! Do you think NYU will send out acceptances/rejections tomorrow? Even though it’s Wednesday?

I’m surprised to hear that no one received any acceptances or rejections today!

Matty? I think I know who you’re talking about!

Yeah, that’s the whole reason I studied abroad too. NYU classes and everything to give me a higher chance of getting in.

The say in the website that taking NYU abroad or spring at NYU sessions won’t increase your chances of transferring in. If they did, then everyone would be going that route. Those sessions are notoriously easier to get accepted to than to the university itself. THey are great experiences but basically are moneymaking things for the school. They get to get tuition from students who might not otherwise qualify for admission and from NYU kids who take a semester away from their major to try some new classes.

Looks like its going to be thursday and friday.

Hoping for some news tomorrow, I have multiple deadlines coming up at other schools

So… I had been mailing my adcon for a while because apparently NYU was missing my HS transcripts, a few days ago they showed up on Albert so I became relieved. However, I got a mail back just now from my adcon telling me that they indeed received the items and that my file is complete! Hopefully this means that they are currently reviewing my application, who knows… maybe I’m being accepted or rejected in this very moment…

Has anyone ever received acceptance email in afternoon or evening? Or has it only been Tuesday/Thursday mornings?

I’ve only seen large influxes of acceptances/rejections on Thursdays.

Thanks! Hopefully I will hear something tomorrow.

It does seem that this year it is mostly Thursdays. I think all the letters are sent in the morning, at around 8 or 9 am.

Hey guys, since tomorrow is Thursday and decisions might be released… has anybody had their credits shown up yet?
