<p>Just got my NYU confirmation letter in the mail today. It was postmarked the 13th, damn they took long! And I'm a borough away! -_-</p>

<p>I got a call from the office tonight while I was at work about my missing scores, so I double checked online to make sure I had sent them - and I had. So I call the number back like they said to do and what do I do? I forget my own CELL PHONE NUMBER, and I accidently say my dad's. Then, I had to call back and leave ANOTHER message. Wow. It's a funny story, I suppose. Yet it scares me. I manage to do these little funny things when it's most important. I blame genetics.</p>

ED applicant to Gallatin here
i just found out i'm valedictorian of my class (500 students) but my school doesn't report ranking! AHHHHH</p>
<p>Do they know how many people are applying from your school? Like they keep track of that?</p>
<p>Cause no one in my school applied Early Decision to NYU except me lol. Would they know that? and if so would it be good or bad thing?</p>
<p>Well, I have always has the mindset of not having a whores chance in heaven of getting into nyu, so if and when I get rejected, I can just brush it off.</p>

Technically, my score went up to a 1900, but the scores that nyu looks at actually went down. Moral of the story, Dont buy Kaplans 2400.</p>

<p>Well I was actually suppose to retake Nov SAT IIs, but I got a fee waiver and I didn't need it for Tisch so I just skipped out on them haha</p>
<p>Wow only about 18 people were accepted into HEOP who applied Early decision last year lol.</p>
<p>I asked in the NYU forum and the admission officer told me that around 250 applicants are choosen for the program and that 7% of the 250 where accepted through Early Decision. That is only about 18/250 D:.</p>
<p>Hopefully that is because the binding contract of early decision and low-income applicants where worried about financial aid and only a few applied ED?...hopefully</p>
