***Official Oct 2014 SAT Curve and Score Predictions (US ONLY)***

@TheCalculator agreed

Woops, I mean 800, 800, 790 for CR. Similar to the Jan 2014 curve.

Yea there is a decent possibility that -2 will not yield a 800,but hopefully the slightly difficult sentence completion questions will balance out the fairly easy comprehension questions & give it an avg curve, in which -2 =800. For me, I got lucky with the vocab and missed none but it definitely wasn’t a cake walk

Why does this say US only ? I took the test as an international and i had the same questions as you guys.

Will the curve be different ? Are internationals graded separately ?

Hoping for a 2300+, for some reason I think I did worse than I’m predicting…

Predictions:
Math: -0 (800)
Writing: -1/9-11 essay (770-800?)
CR: -2-5 (740-800)
=2310-2400

I felt that CR was harder than usual. I think the curve for CR will be nice. I took some tests that I thought had easy CR yet had -4 be 780 or something, so hoping…-1=800 -2=800 -3=780 -4=760 -5=740… would be my guess
I found Math to be easy but that’s because I’m a math person, -1=790, -2=780… would be my guess
Writing was pretty good but I made a silly, w/10 essay -1=800 -2=770… would be my guess

If you had the same test then I would assume you guys to get the same curve as us, but I’m not sure.

Predict me?
-4 or -5 M (depends if this 1-100 integer debate is solved)
-4-7 CR (depends if the confident/measured, and timely/arbitrary debate is solved as well)
idek know about Writing… found it super hard, maybe -6-7 with a 11-12 essay?

M:710-690
CR: 760-700
W:730-690

@TheCalculator‌ Thanks!

Can someone please predict my score?@TheCalculator‌

Math: 0-1 wrong
Reading: 2-4 wrong
Writing: 2-4 wrong, 11 essay

Thx so much, I really appreciate it.

M:790-800
CR: 800-760
W:780-710
Total:2370-2270

thanks bro ur the best!

@castigations
Personally i felt it was arbitrary and i think either the confident/measured or the ingratiate.

I’ll tell you guys why genial & ingratiating is correct, albeit I’m not 100% sure. Sony was definitely genial (friendly ) ,as supported by the text and he was ingratiating( charming and deliberately trying to gain a favor), also supported by the text. He fits those 2 descriptions the best. As for confident, the passage insinuated that but it wasn’t as clear cut as the other pair of aforementioned descriptions.

I’m pretty sure that arbitrary (whimsical,chance ) is correct.

Agreed. What was the arbitrary question again?

Something about calling up a dealership.

it was arbitrary.

Can someone predict my scores?

CR: -2
M: -2 :((
W: -1 w/10 or 11 essay

there was passage about smell, was the guy conversational or did he have “unquestionable authority?” and also the iranian passage she talked about her mom because, to provide background info/digress rite?
