***Official Oct 2014 SAT Curve and Score Predictions (US ONLY)***

@Hazzan97‌ yeah the thing is the vocab and passages were easy but the answers to the passages were tough. so average curve I think. for math it is average to lenient. compared to june, the math was MUCH harder. writing i think will be average.

Can someone please predict my score.

Math: 0
Reading: 2-4 wrong
Writing: 2-4 wrong, 8/9 essay

Thx so much, I really appreciate it.

I have never seen an SAT where CR answers weren’t debated. There is always some level of subjectivety to CR, but I felt like it was slightly less subjective than normal.

I ordered the Q/A so i can tell you guys the correct answers and difficulty of each question. i wont be excited to get my math score though :-S

-2 for math is either 750-770.I’m assuming this test is 760 for math

@‌TheCalculator can you please predict what I got. I posted above.

Hello. I’m just wondering, why does this say US only? Are internationals given a different SAT exam? Or are they given the same exam but a different curve?

M:800
CR:800-750
W:760-690
Total:2360-2240

Thx. Keeping my fingers crossed for the 2360 [-O<

Anyone feel that the 3rd math section was experimental?

What do you think
CR: -5
Math:-4
W: 8 Essay, -2

My curve predictions
MATH:
800 790 770 750 740 720 710 700
READING:
800 800 800 790 770 750 730 720
WRITING:
80 78 75 73 72 71 70 68 67 65

^ beautiful curve  I messed up on Math so freaking hard. I missed 3-4 which is so disappointing b/c all of them I had the answers to but I went way too quickly and got the easy questions wrong ):. There goes my chance of a 2300. I’m realistically expecting a 2150 .
M: -4(710)
CR: 1-5(800-740)
W:1-4(800-710)
Total: 2310-2160

not to burst anyones bubble but the curve for CR has been getting much worse over the past couple of years. -2 800 is rare nowadays, so if the consensus is that it wasn’t too hard, i would not expect a -2 800

On the January SAT, which I thought was relatively difficult, the curve went 800 800 790 770 760 740 730 710…, with the first 800 being -0

a -1 on math will not be a 790, sorry, maybe 780 if it was very hard

I felt the math was relatively easy. Writing was average, and critical reading had easy to digest passages.

Math: 800, 770
CR: 800, 790

@humbugs‌ math will not have a harsh curve. it will either be average or lenient(crossing fingers lenient) writing was average and reading had easy passages but tough answer choices. expect a harsh/normal curve in reading

Math curve if anything. Literally I didn’t get to like 5 math open ended cuz I was like wth is this.

The math experimental was cake.

October SATs usually have the best curve cause everyone takes it in October, and the majority of people don’t do well on their SATs lol… idk most people’s predictions are subjective, in the perspective of how they thought of the test but idk! we’ll see

^CR: -1 is always 800.you clearly have no clue How the curve works. -2 CR usually yields an 800 fyi. It occurred on the may sat. The Math on the may sat was extremely easy, yet -1 yielded a780. Pretty sure -1 on this test is 780/790…the math was easy, but I was being a dolt
