Aristotle and Plot taught that the best human was a philosopher- one who is detached to nature. Or something like that. There was something wrong with the hyphenated phrase.

What about the one about the Korean girl, she felt much freedom because she was inconspicous?

yes fredfredburger (from Billy and Mandy?), that one was thought (that was the answer)

Again, Plato and Aristotle was it "taught" to be changed to "thought"?

I wouldn't say the second one was bitter - there weren't cutting remarks or anything like that.

I live in Pennsylvania, assassin.

yes fredfredburger is from billy and mandy lol! and sorry i posted again, didn't see ur answer there :)

its definitely not conversation/ scholarly as half of the 2nd passage was a 1st person narrative

yes it was taught to be changed to thought

For Aristotle/Plato, I got E, no error. Taught that is grammatically correct, and so is the use of hyphenation to introduce an appositive.

I wasn't sure if they meant "taught that" by literally teaching it or if it was trying to trick us by phonetics

I disagree. There was a verb in the clause after the dash that was in the wrong tense (past instead of present, I think).

no for aristotle/plato question it should be is not were/was (im not sure which it said) because the whole thing was in the present tense

so what did u put assasin?

I didn't mean the hyphenation, i just meant something after that. We don't have the right copy to examine it yet though.

For the Korean girl I got inconspicuous b/c she felt that she would blend in

wow, does anyone remember the actually question and not just bits and pieces? Then maybe we could decide

The Korean girl was inconspicous for the same reason as Assassin

YES SNOWIA! Thats what I got. There was something wrong with the tenses after the hyphen

what was the actual sentence?

On a side note, this is the first time I've ever started a thread that has gone over 15 pages ever in a forum.

Aristotle and Plot taught that the best kind of man was a philosopher- one that were detached from (not sure about the last part)
