lol tru dat snowia memory is inversely proportional to time

;)

lol I like that... "memory is inversely proportional to time"

well, i aim to please the masses.

:)

yeah unefleursauvage, i thought i remember reading that too; i know for sure that i didnt put down he was a great writer

unefleursauvage, I think I chose taht for a different quesiton.

snowia how do you think you did this time?

does anyone remember the questions and their options? or at least what teh options were for the "general opinion" question?

i remember putting down that biographies were largely uncritical, that one passage said he influenced others (and maybe the other didn't?), anyone know what else there was..?

Mm, I did well on Math and Writing (so far, at least.. -knock on wood) but not so well on CR. On CR I omitted 1 and got 2-3 wrong, so I guess that's like a 71 or so? And an optimistic estimate on M - 80 and W - 80.

How about you, Indian? Btw, what's your name? Calling each other by usernames is kind of weird. I'm Mia.

I'm Ben from Allentown, PA.

call me Bond, James Bond

no, not really, my name's Anand;

Math about 740 -720 depending, CR seems all right(80) so far, Writing see CR

what was the answer to the green alloy wheels one? I couldn't get that one..that was like the hardest math prob Ive ever seen, i got the next question after that (the last math question) so easy...the pi/16 circle area (answer was 0.5), was the alloy wheels one easy for you guys? maybe i didnt understand it

also, for the writing, did you guys only get one "No Error"? I did, on the question that stated like She was a talented artist as well a poet, and she is "recognized" as something

that was my only "No Error"

cliff, the answer to the cars one was 80

that one that you said, about Charlotte Bronte, was a no error.

cool, that was the ONLY no error though right?

and on the improving paragraphs one, the first one that asked "How is she 'critical,' it was because she "challenged the president after the ceremony into instituting new reforms" or something right?

sigh, hard to believe the test's over, and we resume school as usual in 2 days...

yeah cliff_hanger, that's what i put. Are we right everyone?

Anand - how do you learn all the vocab? It's my biggest problem -_-

yes i totally feel you haha

you indian btw? what part u from?

Mia: I dunno, my parents are always like "Whenever you read underline the words you dont know", or make associations with the words, but i never do; i think vocab just comes naturally to me... i can figure out the meaning of sentence if i imagine it in a sentence, but i cant just think of a word, like dilatory and know what it means off the top of my head. However, if i've never seen a word before, and i see it in a sentence, i can usually figure it out. I dont think that helped you very much, so sorry in advance.

BTW; mia, where are ya from?

Cliff_Hanger: Andhra Pradesh (South Central) lol; Yeah I'm OG like that.

Anand: That's ok. I guess I'm more of a math-y person, and I don't read enough (no time, sigh). I took Latin a few years back and that helps me guess sometimes, but then other times I guess and am horrifically wrong. Oh well...

I'm from Connecticut/Asian heritage.

is it just me or are most of the people on CC from New England?

side note: 200th Post!

did any of y'all get 141 for one of the grid ins?

Quite possibly... New Englanders tend to obsess about college? (Maybe?) I dunno.

side note: I've posted so much today. Discussing test questions is addictive, lol.

Edit: Yeah, I got 141 for one of them.
