Who remembers the one with “surviving photo” or “the survival of photo” one? I have no idea what to put.

@Sparkss was :freedom an option?? I didn’t see it… I only saw in connection with and with connection to

[Itself | Define Itself at Dictionary.com](<a href=“Itself]Itself Definition & Meaning | Dictionary.com”>Itself Definition & Meaning | Dictionary.com)

Read the examples. It’s ‘itself’

The daffodil/scent one totally did not make sense being there.

The passage was like: essential oils, essential oils how to make, essential oils process, <daffodil smell="">, then more essential oils</daffodil>

The daffodil sentence didn’t fit with the topic of the paragraph and flat out didn’t go with the flow of the passage.

@ sanguine yeah… I think the options were “100 years earlier, and liberty…” Don’t remember any other choices

@christiano241525 Many people chose to keep the “Daffodils” sentence because it serves as an example. The different scents between the daffodils and the other flowers demonstrated the statement that preceded the daffodils sentence

I left out the Daffodil/Scent one. Definitely interrupted the flow of the paragraph, or at least was misplaced.

Anyone know the answer to to a question in the Liberty Bell passage that had weird prepositions? Can’t fully remember but choices were something like this …

a) No Change
b) Around in
C)Over in
D)…
Also… there was the word “Drovers” following the choices in the sentence. I had trouble on this question. I put B.

^ turned out is the answer for sure

What about the “contours” question?

Anyone else remember “turned out” being answer choice B? Cause that’s what I put.

WHat was the contours question?

ANd what did you put for the parentheses question? It had…(something)…

There were NO COMMAS for that one, right?

@JustCrowned yes I left out the daffodil thing because it interrupted the flow of the paragraph, since that paragraph was about the essence of oils.

The daffodil/scent thing seem like an example for the preceding sentence (at least it seemed like it at the time). So I kept it.
I didn’t put any commas for the parentheses question.
And I definitely remember picking “turned out” for the liberty bell passage. I don’t know if it was choice B though.

ok this is what i remember for sure.
the first question for the whole English section was A.) No change
then in that same liberty bell passage, it should’ve been “to be featured prominently at”
next one of the answers was “the 2,000 pound bell”
and #4 was “icon” … the original had said “product” but answer was “icon”
then #5 was the one about the droves… “the roads ‘turned out in’ droves”
choice A was No change, which had “turned over in” and choice C was the correct answer with “turned out in”
i remember these for sure, had trouble with a couple of these.

The daffodil and rise example definitely explained the different senses so I kept it in. Seemed to be right.

i think I kept it to, if it was the one that said, Keep, because it explains something ( something like that)

its was better to remove the comma for the parentheses question

the question about copper, tin,…?

However was definitely the answer for the question regarding the “is it however or therefore”. I am almost a 100% positive about this. The first paragraph talked about how it was so difficult to live in such an environment, but the second paragraph was about a bird that was easily able to adapt to it. Therefore makes no sense, I remember specifically reading over it again and verifying that however was the best choice.

@jfarmarucla No I’m positive that the answer to that question wasd therefore. The previous sentence talked about how it loved the water and such. “Therefore” its path was curvy, following the river.

Plus I kept the things about the dafodil because it gave an example.
