I'm hoping to attend Pennsylvania Governor's School for creative writing. I sent in my application Jan. 7 (that is to say, my dad drove it on the last day possible to the place where they process the applications) :)

niceee. i wanna do the brown mini course but im not 100% positive yet. if anyone has gone to a mini course there before, please tell me. i have some questions.

If I don't get into RSI, which I most likely won't (maybe a 1% chance that I will lol), I am going to do either a mini-course@brown/program at Notre Dame and a research internship at Yale with my uncle (hopefully can enter Siemens this year).

LEAD @ wharton or volunteer trip to El Salvador.

Wow, a lot of people are going to Brown for the summer. I was going to do that (and still might) but then I decided I need to save that kind of money for college itself.

I will most probably be working at a local university lab doing research.

TASP!

...if I get in...

^ same.

Though if I don't get in, I'll either be interning at a local museum, working, or going to SSP (...if I get in...and if I ever get the application downloaded). Oh, and college visits! Can't forget college visits. :)

S1 to some math program (going back to Ross is likely). S2 probably to a week-long residential soccer camp an hour from here.

An internship with Seventeen magazine in the fashion department :].

I don't want to do anything that costs too much money, so I'm applying to some summer programs which are free. The problem is that most free ones are also selective.

So if I don't get in, I'll probably just go to ATDP, and continue my volunteering.

I applied/am applying to RSI, WTP, and NJ Gov School Science (yay made it past counties?). If I don't get in anywhere, internship at a consulting firm or research with local professor while taking a math course.

Either WTP or a two-week piano intensive camp in California.

If I get into neither, I'll probably TA for an academic summer camp or intern at a local biotech company.

...so many choices...it sure takes up thinking time that could be used for things like schoolwork.

wow, this is a really great thread...

um...i plan on attending SAMS (summer academy for math and science).

also:
Play tennis like everyday...lol, greatest sport ever!
prep for SAT II Math (take in sept. of senior year)
work on college apps and essays (start in mid August i guess)
relax...have fun.

im going on a peole to people summit on law and then if i get in and ever download the application, a program at cornell summer college

I have been admitted into Columbia University's three week Summer Program for High School Students during Session I as a Residential student, with my course of study being "NYC: An Urban Case Study." I can't wait! :)

Probably going to Cornell Summer College 6 week engineering college credit program. =D I got in all ready, but we just need our fin aid paper work. If we can't afford it, then if i get into MIT WTP..that's where i'm heading!

x___infatuation: That's really cool. How did you score that kind of position?

bummmmpppppp

LEAD at Wharton!!
