Guys, do you think I should go to UCL in the UK or UCSD? I don’t want to live in the UK, but my family wants me to go to the higher ranked school, i.e, UCL. :((
@sastronaut I really think you should pick UCSD - it’s highly ranked too. UCL is a prestigious school but its dull af

Hi, I reported 5 APs with score 5 and another 5 APs with score 4 in the common app. Would the 4s hurt my admission chance? I am Asian American.
@greenmeadow 4s are fine. You’ll be okay. But if any of you get a 3 or less, it’s in your best interest not to even report those

I am like 100% sure that I will get rejected by all the ivys I applied to, just need 17 hours to face the reality, lol.

as the maker of this thread, i wanted to wish all of you good luck today! i made this thread because i thought i would be applying to princeton (big lol), but my heart ended up taking me in another direction, just like yours will do if you receive a rejection letter.
last year, when i received my rejections from brown and cornell, i felt so pitiful, and i want you to know that, if you feel like that if you receive a rejection from princeton, its okay. it’s okay to be sad, and it’s okay to be a little angry. however, know that time truly does heal all wounds, and you will be just fine. i ended up realizing i wouldn’t have been happy at cornell anyway, but brown on the other hand… well, i’ll save it as an option for graduate school (which i fully intend on pursuing). 
whatever the outcome, let your heart push you in the right direction, just like mine did for me.
