***Official Princeton University Class of 2022 RD Applicant Thread***

@akrem111 @mmstanfordbound Hey it’s better that they go through the s*** after the rejection rather than us, right? :((

Gonna do Harvard, Yale, Princeton, UPenn and finally Columbia xd

Just wondering but did everyone get the IDOC request by princeton?

its the worst bc im gonna be on a plane when they announce… i hope they dont do that thing where they send a follow-up congratulatory email several hours after the decision bc it gives it away in the mail inbox :o

Princeton doesn’t use IDOC

@sastronaut right :))

lol Princeton was the only ivy I applied to. Hope I get in so I don’t have to choose between my other offers

i don’t think i can wait another day. gonna have a heart attack some time soon from the anxiety…

Any advice/strategy on which order I should open tomorrow for Princeton (favorite of the five), Harvard, Brown, Penn, and Cornell? How are you all determining in which order to open decisions?

@Benji3025 alphabetical

Princeton! What a great school! How did your applications go? What were the essays like?

I’m opening both of my Ivy decisions (Princeton and Dartmouth) at the exact same time on 2 computers. Couldn’t decide which to open first so I decided I’m going to eliminate that option altogether and open them at the same time.

@frazzledazzle I wanted to do that but I only have one computer and three ivy decisions to open… RIP

I should have just paid Cambridge Analytica to rig my admissions decision tbh

Am I correct that there was no “Why Princeton” essay this year?? Why???

@grundeis A lot of schools have begun to exclude these essays from applications because they would receive the same canned answers over and over again. So they decided to replace them with prompts that would actually give them a deeper insight to the applicant and who they are

21 more hours. Totally freaking out right now.

@grundeis The engineering essay was kinda “Why Princeton” but not really:

“If you are interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree, please write a 300-500 word essay describing why you are interested in studying engineering, any experiences in or exposure to engineering you have had and how you think the programs in engineering offered at Princeton suit your particular interests.”

what time are ivy decisions supposed to come out tomorrow?
