@sranya2018 Idk. My interviewer asked about my family history, like grandparents’ professions, family ancestry, etc.
Still haven’t received an interview… ugh
Me neither but there is still time! @writergirl0316
Last year, my son was interviewed on Jan. 31 and a few other schools in early Feb., so relax.
Just out of curiosity, did he end up getting in? @TiggerDad
Yes, but he’s opted to take a gap year, so he’ll be joining the Class of 2022.
By the way, Dartmouth didn’t even interview my son until Feb. 24! So I wouldn’t even worry if any of you don’t get the interview by end of this month. Each interviewer, typically a very busy professional, sets his or her interview date, often towards the deadline. So, again, relax everyone!
Thank you for your comforting words. May I know where you are from? @TiggerDad
Originally from South Korea several decades ago, now residing somewhere between the two coasts.
Ayyy scheduled my interview for February 4th! Sadly, my mom wasn’t allowed to be an interviewer this year. I’m sure she’d have written a very nice report.
@ski_racer It makes sense that she can’t interview this year. It would be a conflict of interest. My MIT interview told me how there are some interviewers there who couldn’t do it this year because they have children applying. I think it is in the best interests of everyone. Good luck at your interview! I have mine a week from tomorrow!
Just got this email from my interviewer: Please call me to set up an interview for your Princeton application. H #########. I could not get you by phone on 5 tries.

God help me. I’ve got no missed calls or voice mails from either number.
@frazzledazzle I know, I was joking
@ski_racer Oh. Couldn’t tell through text. Sorry.
@ski_racer hehe… bringing that dry humor to here as well I see.
Just had my interview this week. They were super nice. Now just gotta keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Anyone else from the good ol’ South here?
@habitualnerd boi you know it
@habitualnerd How did your interview go? Did you get the sense that there was a specific agenda or question list interviewer needed to get through or was it just a friendly get to know you session?
decisions come out on March 28th, yeah?
@billybobby54 I assume so, as Yale’s email said March 28. What time do Ivy decisions come out?
I’m guessing throughout the day. Like I think the schools stagger them so all 8 don’t come out at once
